ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
An Anderson Township mother is facing charges after her 2-year-old daughter was found wandering in the street alone.
Angela Haynie, 27, is charged with one count of child endangering.
According to Hamilton County court documents, Haynie told officers that she went to sleep with her daughter, then left to go to the store without telling anyone she was leaving. Haynie's grandmother was in her room with the door closed.
When the 2-year-old woke up, she didn't find anyone in the house, so she exited the front door and walked north on Hilltree Drive.
An off-duty officer found the girl wandering in the street. He took the girl back to her home and waited for the mother. Haynie told officers she was gone less than 30 minutes.
Police say a similar incident occurred in July of 2012 when the girl left her home and was found wandering the street alone.
