LINDALE, TX (KLTV) -
Surveillance cameras captured his face, and now, authorities have a name on an East Texas bank robber. An arrest warrant is now out for 43-year old Anthony Tamanda Rios, in connection with last week's robbery of the Capital One Bank in Lindale.
According to police, Rios walked into the bank, showed the teller a gun and demanded money.
Rios made off with the cash but not before dye packs went off... giving him away.
"After it was broadcast with local media, we received several tips and phone calls," said Sergeant Chad McElyea.
McElyea says following up on those leads helped obtain a search warrant on Rios' home
"Evidence was obtained from the residence which lead for the arrest warrant," McElyea said.
Rios has an extensive rap sheet in both Smith and Wood County. He has been arrested and charged with multiple DWIs, as well as public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and most recently, failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Right now, Rios is still on the run, but FBI agents are getting closer to finding him. His vehicle was located after an extensive search of the Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport parking lot.
"We know that he was at Dallas Ft. Worth airport and got on a flight and went to the Philippines," said Brent Chambers who has been working with Lindale Police on behalf of the FBI.
Authorities say Rios left on Tuesday, but even with his head start, they are not far behind.
"We have our agents in the Philippines. We've been in touch with them and they're going to attempt to locate him there," said Chambers.

The Lindale Police Department along with the FBI would like to thank the local media for their assistance in the Lindale Bank Robbery Case. After broadcasting the information on the Robbery we received several tips. We were able to follow up on these tips and develop a few of the leads.
We have executed a couple of search warrants and were able to obtain evidence identifying the suspect.
A search warrant was executed at the suspects residence located at 16575 Timberwood just outside of Lindale and a search warrant on the suspects vehicle a 2003 light blue Toyota Celica. We have obtained an aggravated robbery warrant for the arrest of Anthony Rios.
