Poll Watch: Cards jump a notch - wave3.com-Louisville News, Weather & Sports

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - After holding off Florida International on Saturday night, the Louisville Cardinals were able to improve their positions just a tad  in both major college football polls.

The latest A.P. poll lists the Cards at number 19, up one spot from last week. The USA Today poll has U of L in the 17th position,  also up one spot from a week ago.

Saturday night, Louisville topped F.I.U. 28 to 21 to remain a perfect 4 and 0 on the season.

Alabama is still atop both polls, but there's been a change for second as Oregon slips past L.S.U. at number two. The Tigers dropped down to third.
