LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – India Day is part of Louisville's September social calendar. Sunny and Harsha Dronawat joined John Ramsey on WAVE 3 Listens Live! to share all things Indian. This year the Indian Community of Kentucky has kicked it up a notch!
India Day will be held on September 29 on the Belvedere. The events start at 11 a.m. and won't end until 11 p.m. There will be something for everyone on all day.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. events will include; India Bee contest, Caroom tournaments and Rangoli demonstrations. From 4p.m. to 11p.m. will include; Entertaining Cultural Show, Guest Chief Mayor Greg Fischer and of course DJ with Bollywood on the dance floor.
All day events will include; games for kids from Kazoing, Indian food from local restaurants, cloths and jewelry vendors and of course the Henna Tattoo stations.
