MCLEAN COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – A Kentucky teenager said he is overwhelmed by the tremendous support he has received during his battle with cancer.
A Facebook page started as a way to keep friends and family updated on Lane Goodwin's condition has grown into something special. People show support for Lane by posting pictures of themselves giving a thumbs up on the page.
Lane's mother Angie Goodwin said, "He said mom this is what we've always prayed for, and I was like what? What do you mean? He's like just what we prayed for. For awareness for childhood cancer and for the cure. He said this is gonna bring about the cure."
The page for Lane has grown so much that friends and family now help Angie to keep it going.
