Woman killed in southern Indiana accident

GREENVILLE, IN (WAVE) – An accident in Floyd County Wednesday claimed the life of a Greenville, Indiana woman.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jo-Ann Farmer said Ashley De Johnette, 27, was pronounced dead at 1:57 Wednesday afternoon at University Hospital from multiple traumatic injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

Farmer said Johnette was driving a van in Floyd County around 10 Wednesday morning when she hit a tree.
