LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – While parents of Frost Middle School students were trying to figure out what was going on, so were students at Butler High School.

Jefferson County Public Schools confirm three of their students, all football players according to the coach, were in the Ford Mustang that wrecked with bus 1250.

They were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At their school, their teammates and friends were hoping they would be okay.

The red Mustang was severely damaged. Butler students were relieved the wreck did not have more disastrous results for their classmates.
