Louisville man facing animal abuse charges

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has been arrested for animal abuse.

Police said Wayne Chestnut left two dogs outside a condemned property. One of the dogs, a mixed breed, was tied to a tree with a chain around its neck and no collar. A Beagle was tied to a fixed point. Neither of the animals had food or water.

Chestnut is charged with second degree criminal abuse.
