Police searching for suspect in deadly shooting

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are searching for a suspect in a deadly shooting in the Chickasaw neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 700 block of South 35th Street just before 1 a.m. on September 29.

Kelly Simms, 23, was found with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call police at (502) 574-LMPD.
