The car drove into the restaurant.LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A
woman gave a new meaning to the word drive-thru at one fast food chain.
According to Louisville
Metro police, the driver of a silver Taurus hit the gas a plowed through the
side of the Fazolis located at 3083 Breckinridge Lane around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The car ended up in the
coat room.
Customers were eating
inside at the time of the crash, but they were not on the same side of the
building. Fortunately no one was
injured.
The restaurant will remain
closed until a building inspector can get a closer look at the damage on Tuesday.
Police are trying to
figure out if weather played a factor in the wreck. They do not believe drugs
or alcohol are a factor.
Police are classifying the
crash as an accident. No charges are expected to be filed.
