LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A convicted sex offender is facing new charges.
On September 28 an officer used the Louisville Metro mapping tool and discovered Robert Stiver, 58, was residing 980 feet from Little Blessings Child Development Center, a violation of the Kentucky Sex Offender laws.
He found Stivers around 2 p.m. on Iowa Avenue.
Stivers was arrested and charged with failure to comply with the sex offender registration laws.
Stivers was convicted in 2009 of sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years of age in addition to a sodomy charge involving a 9-year-old.
