Police searching for armed bank robber

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Metro police are searching for a man who robbed a PNC Bank.

According to police, around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, a man walked into the PNC Bank at 9250 Westport Road, near Goose Creek, armed with a gun.

The man was handed some money and took off into the apartments across the street.

The man is described as 6' 0'' tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He is estimated to be between 40 and 45 years of age and has a shaved head.
