Steven Warren (Source: Jefferson County, Indiana Jail)MADISON, IN (WAVE) – Warrants have been issued for the owner and associates of a chain of smoke shops in southern Indiana.
Tuesday, Indiana State Police issued warrants for Julie Marshall, Steven Warren and Rita Smith.
Marshall is the owner of Needful Things, a novelty stores that specialize in smoking accessories.
After
an investigation conducted by police, they uncovered numerous alleged
financial and business crimes, as well as numerous drug related charges.
All three are charged with dealing
synthetic drugs. State police said Marshall also faces
racketeering charges.
WAVE 3 was at the novelty shop that
specializes in smoking accessories back in July shortly after the Indiana State Police Organized Crime and Corruption Unit swooped in.
Marshall's Clarksville store was busted a
little more than a year ago.
State Police said their investigation
started last October.
