Jim Beam opens visitor's center to public

CLERMONT, KY (WAVE) - Visitors to the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont Kentucky can fully experience bourbon.

On Wednesday, the first anniversary as a public company, Beam opened the doors to the new Jim Beam American Stillhouse Visitor's Center.

The drink selected in honor of the opening  was straight up Beam - right out of the barrel.

Jim Beam's Master Distiller Fred Booker Noe III said, "May today be as good as tomorrow, and the future even better. Cheers !"

Jim Beam is the first stop along the Kentucky bourbon trail the new stillhouse will offer visitors a look back at the company's 218 year history, as well as tours of the world's largest bourbon distillery.
