LEXINGTON, KY (WLEX) - Lexington police say a man stabbed a dog to death because he was angry at his mother.
According to the police report, Kimanita Ishar Hale, 21, was at an
apartment on Huntsville Drive he shares with his mom when he got angry.
Police say he grabbed a 6-inch butcher knife and stabbed the family dog
multiple times, killing it.
When officers arrived, he held them at bay
by holding the knife to his own throat, yelling, "kill me." An officer
deployed a Taser, but Hale continued to resist, according to court
documents. Police finally subdued Hale and made the arrest.
Police charged Hale with torture of a dog and resisting arrest.
