INDOT hiring for winter positions

INDIANAPOLIS (WAVE) – It is only the beginning of fall, but the Indiana Department of Transportation is preparing for winter.

INDOT held a job fair Thursday morning for snowplow operators and mechanics to help them with the winter, and possibly full time.

Starting pay for the positions is $15 an hour.

Applicants have to pass a drug test and have a commercial driver's license.

Priority will be given to qualified candidates who complete an online application online by clicking here.
