LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A police officer was involved in a car crash in Fern Creek.

MetroSafe confirmed, at 9:24 p.m. Friday two vehicles crashed in the 5300 block of Bardstown Road near St. Gabriel Lane.

A 7th division Louisville Metro police officer was working a traffic stop when a black pick-up truck hit the police cruiser.
