Accident sends officer, 3 kids to hospital

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville Metro police officer was involved in an accident that sent four people to the hospital.

The accident happened just before midnight Friday night on I-64 west near the Cochran Tunnels.

The officer's car was rear ended while helping with a previous accident. The officer and three kids riding in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No charges are expected.
