Race track hosts different kind of horsepower

One of the cars that was on display.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The infield at Churchill Downs changed its spotlight from horses to horsepower Sunday.

The venue hosted the 2012 Louisville Concours D'Elegance.

From Chevys to Lamborghinis, dozens of rare, elegant, vintage and historic cars were on display at the historic track.

The Louisville event has become one of the premier events in the country and places a strong emphasis on vehicle authenticity and originality.

Money raised at the event benefits Kosair Children's Hospital.
