BREATHITT COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - An autopsy will hopefully help investigators identify two badly burned bodies found in a car in eastern Kentucky over the weekend.
The Breathitt County coroner said a death investigation is underway outside of Jackson, Kentucky.
Police said the deaths could be ruled as homicide.
Police said over the weekend the bodies were found in a Ford Fusion. The badly burned remains inside are believed to be those of a man and a woman.
The car and remains were taken to Frankfort, Kentucky for the autopsy.
