The online auction of the University of Kentucky championship
floor starts this week.
Coach John Calipari signed the first souvenir piece of the floor
which goes up for auction at noon on Thursday and continues until noon on October 18.

Northwestern Mutual, which received the floor after the
tournament, is donating the souvenir pieces to raise money to fight pediatric
cancer in Kentucky.
Fans will have just one week to bid on 300 pieces of the floor.
Each piece will be signed and will come with a certificate of
authenticity.
