CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - At least a 100 signs have popped up around Kentuckiana in a new effort to find a missing teen.

Ethan Bennett, 19, hasn't been seen since September 11 when he said he was going to a friends house. At that time he was using his parents 2001 silver Jaguar, plate #RJU784.

Bennett's father Tony says he doesn't know why his son would just pick up and leave. As of Saturday, thanks to the generosity of friends who printed and posted the signs, drivers at busy intersections will be reminded that they still need information about Ethan Bennett's whereabouts.

"I don't know if he's in some sort of mental distress. I don't know if he's determined he just wants a new break in life. I have no idea how to know and obviously your mind can play nasty tricks on you and you think of every possibly outcome and I try to put those out of my mind," said Tony Bennett.

Detective Randy Burton with the Clark County Sheriff's Department said he is not only concerned that they have not found Ethan Bennett, but also that there has been no sign of his vehicle. If you have any information that could help in their case, you're asked to call (812) 246-6996 or the Sheriff Department's anonymous tip line at (812) 280-2276.
