Name of officer hit while working traffic stop released

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The name of the officer who was injured while working a traffic stop has been released.

Friday at 9:24 p.m.

Officer Michael Clark was taken to the hospital after his cruiser was hit in the 5300 block of Bardstown Road near St. Gabriel Lane on Friday at 9:24 p.m.

Officer Clark was treated at the hospital and released.

He has since returned to work.
