INDIANAPOLIS (WAVE) - Indiana State Police have an important warning for hunters.

As hunting season approaches, police said hunters may come across trash left behind by people who make meth.

They want to remind hunters that the trash may contain chemicals that are toxic and flammable.

The combination of these chemicals could cause an explosion, fire or burns if they come into direct contact with the skin.

If you come across what may be a meth lab, you are asked to call Indiana State Police.
