Metro Corrections escapee captured

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Metro Corrections escapee who has been on the run has turned himself into police.

Lexington police surrounded a home early Wednesday morning after tracking Louis Taylor's cell phone, but Taylor was not there.

Then, around 4 p.m. Wednesday police in Stanford arrested Taylor.

Taylor reportedly had charges against him in Madison and Garrard counties.

Taylor's mother said her son suffers from mental problems.
