A 20-year-old California woman says she was discriminated against after being turned down for a job at The Tilted Kilt restaurant.
According to a story by ABC 7 in San Francisco, Jennifer Rogers made it through the application process, but says she was turned away when she couldn't fit into the tiny skirts that servers wear as their uniforms.
The restaurant says they did nothing wrong and were advertising for entertainer jobs with specific appearance and costume guidelines.
Federal law prohibits discrimination based on race, sex and religion but not body type.
