Police searching for detention center escapee

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Kentucky State Police are searching for an inmate who walked away from custody

According to police, Robert Wilson, 23, was taking a class at the old jail location on Mulberry Street when he walked away on October 5.

Wilson was arrested on October 1, 2012 for a probation violation. One of his original violations was a rape charge.
