Frantic 911 call made by 12-year-old released

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Franticcalls made to 911 while a young boy and his sister were home alone have beenreleased.

The Farnsly Middle Schoolstudent Idale Green, 12, was home watching his 4-year-old sister Monday whenpolice said William Isaac Nevitt, 24, attempted to break into their home insouth Louisville.

Green had 911 dialed onthe home phone and his mother Keasha on a cell phone.

He told dispatchers,

GREEN: I'm 12 years old,I'm here with my sister. Please hurry up.

DISPATCH: Ok, don't hangup on me, you hear me?

GREEN: Please hurry up,I'm scared.


During the incident hismother said, "I just panicked at work, I just started crying."

Police said Nevittadmitted he was going to break in to the house. 

He is charged withburglary and possession of burglary tools.

Nevitt has a history ofdrug related arrests.
