Victim of Newburg shooting identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man who was found shot to death Saturday night in Newburg has been identified.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jack Arnold said Troy Garvin, 36, was pronounced dead at 8:42 Saturday night from a gunshot wound to the body.

Police were called to the 4400 block of Norene Lane Saturday evening on a report of a shooting. Police are still looking for a suspect.
