Homecoming parade results in an arrest at Valley Station

LOUISVILLE, KY - The Louisville mother arrested and taken away in handcuffs following her son's football game has hired an attorney.

Witnesses say a youth football game was wrapping up on Saturday at Valley Station when an off-duty Metro Corrections officer working security told the crowd to clear the track for the homecoming parade.

Witnesses say that corrections officer used excessive force when he arrested Mindy Hernandez, 33. She is expected in court on Wednesday.
