Car crashes into school bus; no injuries reported

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A school bus carrying six JCPS grade school students was hit by a car Tuesday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police. No one was injured.

Investigators said the driver of the car pulled into the path of bus #1225 at Grinstead Drive and Lexington Road at 8:18 a.m., hitting the bus.

The bus was carrying students from Field Elementary School which is near the accident scene. The crash caused a flat tire on the bus.

Another bus was dispatched to the scene to get the students to school.
