Police: Man went to 28 dentists in 5 months

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man accused of going to dozens of dentists in an effort to obtain painkillers has been charged with fraud.

According to an arrest report, Michael Oswald, 42, visited 28 dentists over a five month period to get prescriptions for Hydrocodone and Tramadol.

He is charged with 22 counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
