Teen to be tried as adult in ex-girlfriends murder

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A teenager accused in the deadly stabbing of a girl he once dated will be tried as an adult.

Louisville Metro police said they found Darnisha Peoples on September 8 with several stab wounds in the 2200 block of Peaslee Road in Shively.

Officers arrested John Robinson III, 17, a Western High School student.

Robinson is charged with murder.
