NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – The race for the Indiana District 9 Congressional seat is heating up as candidates cross through southern Indiana.

Democrat Shelli Yoder held an open table tour in New Albany Friday.

Yoder has made claims against her opponent Todd Young. She said he refuses to hold town hall meetings, which is common with most members of Congress.

Friday, Congressman Todd Young's campaign announced that House Majority Chief Deputy Whip Peter Roskam will be stopping by Young's headquarters on Saturday to encourage local activists and volunteers.
