LOUISVILLE,
KY (WAVE) – A small child unbuckled in the front seat of a car led to a drug
arrest for one mother.
According
to Louisville Metro police, Vanessa Finley was pulled over around 5:30 p.m.
Sunday along Rockford Lane because an officer spotted a small child in the
front seat without a booster seat.
Officers
said a Finley gave them a verbal consent to search her car. During the
searching nine small baggies containing meth were found.
According
to an arrest report, Finley told officers she had been smoking large amounts of
meth because she was due to turn herself in this week to start a prison
sentence.
Finley
is charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and
booster seat violations.
