LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two robbers
were arrested thanks to two detectives who were in the right place at the right
time.
The robbery took place on Tuesday at Broadway
Fashions located on 18th Street and Broadway.
When one of the robbers ran out of the
door with a gun and cash in hand two Metro homicide detectives happened to be
nearby and saw the whole incident.
The robber jumped into a get-away
vehicle and took off.
The detectives chased the two men and
eventually arrested them.
Detective Mickey Cohn said, "What are
the chances that two police officers are sitting right outside the store when
that happens? So it was a bad day for him, a good day for us."
Antonio Adams, 20, and Joshua Keaton,
25, are both charged with robbery.
Adams was on shock probation for a
prior burglary home invasion.
