LIHEAP registration set to being

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Winter is on its way and some residents may need help to stay warm as the temperatures plunge.

The Low Income High Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, begins November 5 and runs through December 14.

If you need assistance you can apply in person on October 31 at the Urban Government Center on Barrett Avenue.

To apply bring a photo ID, proof of household income, your social security card and your most recent heating bill.
