Women involve 1-year-old in theft

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two women are facing theft charges and police said the women used a baby to commit the crime.

Janay Barker and Dysheka Tinsley went to a K-Mart on Dixie Highway with a 1-year-old.

Investigators said they stuffed merchandise inside the child's stroller and tried to leave without paying.

Both were arrested and charged with shoplifting.

The child has been placed in the care of a family member.
