Police looking for robbery suspect

VINE GROVE, KY (WAVE) – Police are searching for a suspect who tried to rob a convenience store.

Kentucky State Police said on Saturday morning the suspect went into Carolyn's Corner Store located in the Big Springs Community.

The employee and the suspect got into a fight. Then the employee led the robber to a neighboring home where a man was shot in the arm with his own gun.

Police said the suspect then went to another nearby home and robbed a man of his car at gunpoint.

At last check, the man who was shot was listed in stable condition at University Hospital.
