Man caught, charged with robbery, attempted murder

HARDIN COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - Police arrested a man wanted in connection to an attempted robbery and shooting in the Big Springs community.

Steven Goodman is charged with robbery and attempted murder.

Kentucky State Police said Goodman was trying to rob Carolyn's Corner Store when he got into a fight with a store employee.

The fight continued into the street where a third person was shot in the arm.

Investigators said Goodman then went to a nearby house, demanded car keys and then took off.

Goodman was arrested Monday morning.

The store clerk is listed in stable condition at University Hospital.
