Child involved in bus crash released from hospital

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One of the children injured in a Carroll County bus crash was released from Kosair Children's Hospital Wednesday afternoon.

In addition to the child's release a 3-year-old in pediatric ICU was upgraded to good condition.

A 4-year-old girl remains in the PICU.

Leighann Hendren, 3, was flown to a Lexington Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

Ryder Deitz, 3, and Caroline Tuttle, 3, died in Monday afternoon's crash on Boone Road.

Police are still investigating what caused the driver of the head start bus to slam into a tree.
