LG&E to discuss rate hike, public invited - wave3.com-Louisville News, Weather & Sports

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) –LG&E could be raising rates and you have a chance to voice your opinion about the proposed increase.

The Kentucky Public Service Commission will hold a meeting to inform the public about the rate making process and hear their thoughts as the commission decides if the proposed rate hike is reasonable.

LG&E said it wants to raise rates almost nine percent in 2013.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Male High School in the Durrett Auditorium.
