LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The names of the nine children and two adults who were on board a bus when it crashed into a tree in Carroll County have been released.
According to Kentucky State Police Trooper Brad Arterburn, the children in the bus crash who were transported to Kosair Children's Hospital for treatment are Jose Ardon-Landa, 3, Dulce Cruz,3, Ryleigh Hollingsworth, 3, Brayden Jones, 3, Jordan Raisor, 3, and Mariah Robles, 4.
Leighann Hendren, 3, was transported to the University of Kentucky Children's Hospital. On Wednesday, she was listed in critical condition.
Caroline Tuttle, 3, and Ryder Deitz, 3, died at the scene.
The crash happened October 29 4:30 p.m. when the headstart bus partially overturned and struck a tree.
The driver of the bus was Laura Reed, 59, was not injured. The assistant on the bus was Tina Gividen, 52, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police are still investigating what caused Reed to wreck.
