Kentucky residents helping victims of Sandy; Train Derailment update; Cold day across Kentuckiana

We didn't have a 6:00 p.m. newscast today because of football and there is a lot of news we want to update you on.

WAVE 3's Katie Bauer just returned from La Grange tonight. She has story about a group of people driving supplies from Kentucky to one of the most hardest hit areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

We'll also have the latest on the train derailment. Crews are continuing their efforts to move tanker cars. Workers decided to delay relocating tankers containing the dangerous chemical hydrogen fluoride until debris from the derailment could be cleaned up. We'll have the very latest from officials tonight.

Many of you were probably glued to the TV today watching the Breeders' Cup and the U of L game.  Mike Hartnett has all of your sports highlights tonight.

It was a cold and gloomy day across Kentuckiana. Your latest forecast with Andy Weingarten at 11.

See you tonight!
