NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - More families need
a helping hand to have a merry Christmas this year.
Monday, those in need in Indiana
started applying for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
Families in Crawford, Floyd, Harrison,
Scott and Washington counties can apply in person at 2300 Green Valley Road in New
Albany, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Extended hours are on Thursday from 4 p.m.
to 7 p.m.
If you would like to apply you will need
to bring proof of income, proof of rent, an Indiana picture ID of everyone in
the household and proof of date of birth of all children.
Harrison County families need to go to
the Community Hope of Nazarene Church in Corydon to apply during the same
hours.
Families have until November 16 to
register.
