Police Report: Man admitted to trying to kill his brother

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An arrest report shows man accused of trying to kill his brother admitted to the crime.

David Higgins is charged with attempted murder.

The police report states, "Higgins told officers he shot his brother to ‘put him out of his misery.'"

His brother was shot in the chest and shoulder, but he is expected to survive.
