Driver killed in crash on I-71

CARROLL COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – A driver has died after a crash on Interstate 71.

According to Kentucky State Police, Monday around 7:30 p.m. troopers responded to a single vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer on I-71 northbound between the 38 and 40 mile marker.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
