LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Lanes on Dixie Highway have been reopened
after a train derailment.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, they opened one lane in each direction between Abbotts Beach Road and the City of
West Point around 9:40 on Monday night.
The speed limit in the area will be reduced to 35 miles
per hour and will be strictly enforced.
The lanes were closed after a train derailed on October 29 and then caught fire two days later.
