Goodwin's father gets special seat

LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) – The father of Lane Goodwin received a special seat at a basketball game.

Monday, he was invited to sit on the bench of the University of Kentucky basketball game against Transylvania.

George Goodwin got the opportunity after his son Lane's 2- year battle with a rare form of cancer.

The McLean county family laid their son to rest in October.

Goodwin took part in the game thanks to the generosity of a participant in Coach Cal's Fantasy Camp.
