LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It might have been all about the candidates this election season, but it's also been all about the bands and who made the campaign trail mixes.

The Romney campaign relied on Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, Alabama, Taylor Hicks, Pat Boone, Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" and Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" to rock out on while campaigning.

President Obama's campaign had a little more of a mix playing U2's "City of Blinding Light", James Taylor, Mary J. Blige, Tom Petty, Nicki Minaj, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, and, of course, Bruce Springsteen.
